Join your friends for "Float Night." This event is when the kids are allowed to bring floats into the recreation pool for a couple of hours of splashing and fun. There are float nights scheduled every Saturday evening of the season. Check the website Calendar for specific dates.

This is the 2nd competitive swim meet for the season, with the Hurricanes hosting the swimmers from Ginter Park Recreation Association.

This is the 3rd competitive swim meet for the season, with the Hurricanes traveling to Walton Park.

"The Robbie Ashworth Splash for Cash" is a swim marathon where swimmers and their sponsors pledge a certain amount of money for each lap swum.
The collected money goes toward the Robbie Ashworth Scholarship, available to a senior swimmer who will be going to college. The scholarship was started as a memorial to Robbie Ashworth, one of our young Hurricanes who succumbed to cancer.
The pancake breakfast, serving delicious foods the kids enjoy, immediately follows the swim marathon.
The Snack Bar is operating the grill on Saturday, from 12Noon until 3:00pm. Volunteers and Snack Bar staff will be offering hamburgers, Italian sausages, and grilled chicken sandwiches. And, of course, these delicious food items will be reasonably priced.
This is the 4th competitive swim meet for the season, with the Hurricanes hosting Ridgetop Recreation Association. Invite your friends and guests to watch you perform during the swim meet. Go Hurricanes!!!

The Recreation Committee is hosting its annual "Fourth of July Bash" which is the social event of the season!
This is the 5th competitive and final home swim meet for the season, with the Hurricanes hosting Three Chopt Recreation Club. Invite your friends and guests to attend the event and watch you perform your swimming skills. Senior swimmers will be honored this evening.
It is also the night for the popular "ice cream social" and more fun with the "pie the coaches" celebration; swimmers: this is your night to have additional fun and smash some whipped cream pie in the faces of your favorite coaches.

Come to the Club tonight and join other adults for a swimming period devoted just to the adults, from 8:00 - 10:00pm. Enjoy a quieter time in the pool while socializing with your friends; bring a guest, too.

Join your fellow LSRC seniors for a luncheon at the picnic pavilion on Saturday, July 20th. Folks gather around 11:30am to prepare the tables, organize the foods, and socialize a while before lunch, which is usually at 12noon. Please bring a covered dish to share with all.
This is the 1st of 2 seniors' luncheons for the 2019 season, and you are encouraged to participate, enjoy delicious food and good conversation.

This is the only day reserved by JRAC for the league's Swim Team Championships for this season. The event returns to the SwimRVA facility, located in Chesterfield County, at:

This is the final Adult Swim Night for the season, 8pm - 10pm.
The Board will also discuss and finalize potential end-of-season events.

This is the final seniors' luncheon for the 2019 season, so you are encouraged to participate, enjoy delicious food and good conversation with other senior friends.
We will end the season with time to enjoy good grilled food and potluck offerings from 12noon to 3pm, as well as games in the afternoon. The host Recreation Committee will be grilling hamburgers, cheese burgers, and hot dogs and various pot luck dishes will be provided.
The pools close this evening at 8pm for the 2019 season.
