• Swimmers must be able to swim a 25 unassisted to be eligible for the team.
• Swimmers are expected to participate in the 6 swim meets unless ill or out of town.  Coach must be made aware prior to meet if unable to attend.
• Every family is expected to volunteer a minimum of 1/2 of each swim meet in which their child participates. Job signups will be available prior to each meet.
• Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult to all practices and meets. This is for your child’s safety.

Youth Athletic Membership & Payments

This membership allows youth who are not LSRC members the ability to participate in Summer Swim. It also allows swimmers in other leagues an opportunity to swim with friends at LSRC in the James River Aquatic Club (JRAC) league.

For non-members that would like their children to join the Hurricanes Swim Team, you may purchase a limited membership below.  After purchasing a YAM, you will be contacted by a member of the Swim Committee for further registration steps.
